Opening in 2015

Hello Everyone! I have opened Women’s Balanced Body, LLC. Most of my work has been online through webinars, newsletters, blogs and other online challenges. I will be teaching a 3 Months to A Balanced Body workshop and really want to expand. I need a space to see my local clients and to start training in person!
I have a location in mind which would be perfect, I am looking for any help I can get to rent the location, purchase equipment and to renovate the space. I expect to teach my first class in the Spring of 2015 at my new location.
My first step is securing some funds and renting the space.
My next step is renovating to make it an awesome training and nutrition center.
The final step before I open the doors is securing equipment and advertising.
I have such a great following on Facebook and I hope you will all help spread the word.
Its so important that we all take care of our bodies. I have had this feeling…this burning inside that I am meant to do more! I am meant to help people. My passion is health and fitness and I want to share this with the world. I want to help other women see the greatness they poses. That they are worth the time!
Please help me make this amazing dream a reality!

Also my book Women’s Guide to A Balanced Body will be out in late September. I will have updates on that as we approach the book launch date.

Kids Nutrition

Well we have had a wonderful summer, hard to believe that its almost time to go back to school. My oldest daughter recently had to have surgery and during this time I knew she would do great. I really believe that having a great healthy lifestyle helps with recovery and preventing other illnesses. The night before her surgery she got to pick her restaurant for dinner. She chose Ruby Tuesdays because…she wanted the salad bar. She filled up on veggies, eggs and some pasta salad. Our family chooses organic foods because we want to avoid the pesticides and GMO’s found in non organic foods. We also have a whole house water filter to keep out water clean of chemicals.

I feel that Karahs diet has helped her and will continue to help her on her recovery now and any other health obstacles she might meet in the future.

I really just wanted to get that little bit of info out there because many people I talk to just don’t understand why we eat the way we do and that’s ok. I want to help raise awareness to using food as fuel for our bodies instead of poisoning it with fast food and toxic sugars.

I will be opening an actual location in Connecticut where I will be teaching nutrition and fitness classes for women and their families. The next few months will be busy with planning and creating this new work space. I look forward to the task and can’t wait to help more people achieve their best bodies.
